The primary aim of this new group is to teach the rudiments of the game to beginners. However, players of all abilities are welcome to join so whatever your level, please give it a go so we can quantify the amount of interest. The venue can accommodate several tables so we could have beginners, intermediate and regular players all playing simultaneously. Hopefully everyone will relish getting to grips with this endlessly fascinating game. If you have a chess set, please bring it along. Whatever your level, I look forward to welcoming you to one of our meetings.
